Jan 20, 2025

The Colorado Grit of the North American Hockey League(NAHL) are proud to announce that Carson Pavlowich has committed to play NCAA Division I at the United States Air Force Academy.

The 6’3” right shot defenseman is from Proctor, MN playing in his first season with the Grit. While in Proctor HS Pavlowich posted over eighty points over three seasons before a short pre/post season in the NA3 earning a tender last season with the Grit. He has posted one goal and six assists through twenty-six games to date in the NAHL.

Pavlowich had this to say on his commitment “I am very excited and honored to announce my commitment to play division 1 hockey and continue my education at the United States Air Force Academy. I would like to thank all of my coaches, teammates, family and friends who have helped me along the way. I would also like to thank everyone in the Grit organization who has helped me get here. None of this would be possible without the help of my coaches and everyone else who believed in me and given me the chance at this level. My time with the Grit has been amazing and I’m looking forward to staying in Colorado for the future.”

“We are extremely excited for Carson and the great future he has in front of him” stated Grit Head Coach Kevin Holmstrom. “He has taken such great steps this season, been patient with his development, respectful and competes every day. Pavs possess so many good hockey habits but more importantly character traits that are very fitting for the AFA, the staff and its hockey program. We look forward to his continued success the last part of our season and all he brings to the Grit!” Congratulations Pavs!
